Conditions of pressure vessel technology
1) conditions are harsh. Pressure vessels of different sizes will not only bear the pressure of the load (in general, or pulsating load) and other loads, and some still in high temperature or cryogenic operating conditions, the working medium is oftencorrosive, relatively harsh environmental conditions .
2) pressure vessel - easy to overload. Pressure inside the container is often due to operational errorsor abnormal reaction increased rapidly, and often not found in the case of rupture ofthe container already.
3) pressure vessel - the local stress is more complex. For example, around openings in the containerand other structural discontinuities, often due to high local stress and repeatedloading and unloading caused by fatigue cracking.
4) pressure vessel - often hide serious defects.
